This chronicle of parliamentary activity aims to analyse the activity of the Parliament of the Canary Islands in the period January-July 2024, in the light of the functions of the Chamber. With regard to the regional legislation, it lists the different laws passed, new legislative initiatives, the state of the initiatives in process, and the decrees passed. In addition to the above, the main control activity relating to the period analysed is detailed: oral questions, the general debate on the state of Canarian nationality, the communication sent by the Executive, and the approval of the General Account for the 2022 financial year. Finally, other parliamentary activity is referred to, which in addition to the innovation of autonomous parliamentary law, covers both the relationship of other bodies or institutions with the Chamber, or in terms of control of the principle of subsidiarity and proportionality, study and research commissions, the appointment of senators representing the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, with special analysis of the renewal of the persons holding the institutions of statutory relevance.
