Abstract

Last year, the order approving the shield of the lawyers of the Government of the Canary Islands was published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, for use on gowns and identification cards, according to a file processed by the Vice-Ministry of Legal Services and prior authorization of its use by resolution of the General Directorate of Modernization and Quality of Services.

This work details the design project of said badge, which was presented by the author to the indicated Vice-Ministry for the processing of the aforementioned approval file.

A rigorous legal analysis of the issue takes us, from the justification and objective of the proposal and the consideration of the background, to the determination of the option which was finally chosen.
